Munnar Nursery
A fairly new project, taking in children aged from 2 ½ to 4, from poor families. This facility enables their mothers to go for work and gives the children an excellent start to their education as well as providing healthy snacks, milk and medical care. The project gives employment to a local teacher who has a mentally disabled young child so she is able to work and look after her son.
They are wearing knitted tops and warm clothing as Munnar is high up in a mountain range and it is quite cold there sometimes.
In 2010, Weston Favell Primary School gave £100.00 which was spent on tables, chairs and books.

We would like to continue to help this project by giving a contribution to the children's snacks and milk.
July 2011 - . . . . and we received £150.07 from Weston Favell Primary School, which is just what we wanted!
